Val Herbst is the Coordinator for the Center for Disability Access at ΢ÃÜȦ, where she supports students through case management, facilitates the implementation of accommodations in collaboration with faculty, and provides individualized student support. She holds a Master’s degree in Higher Education from Providence College and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Southern New Hampshire University. Val’s professional background includes roles in accessibility services at Providence College and Bristol Community College, where she worked with dual-enrolled students with disabilities. She is also an elected board member for New England’s Association of Higher Education and Disability (AHEAD) chapter. Originally from California, she also has a degree in Culinary Arts from Santa Rosa Junior College and a background in the restaurant industry. Outside of work, Val enjoys hiking, woodworking, and spending time with her partner and two children.
